Pamela is a sought-after expert on emotion and technology. She advises designers, developers, and decision-makers on how to create technologies with greater emotional intelligence. Pamela is faculty at Pratt Institute School of Information and has lectured at Parsons School of Design, Stanford Design School, and ASU’s Center for Science and the Imagination. Pamela often speaks about our emotional lives online, emotion and artificial intelligence, and internet feelings, all over the world including SXSW, Web Summit, and TNW. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Slate, CBC, and NPR. She is the author of the forthcoming Emotionally Intelligent Design from O’Reilly and is currently writing about the future of feelings.
