Accell Group is an international group in the middle and higher segments of the markets for bicycles and bicycle parts and accessories. The company is market leader in Europe. Accell Group is also Europe’s market leader in electric bikes. The best-known brands are Haibike, Sparta, Lapierre, Tunturi, Raleigh, Koga, Batavus, Ghost, Babboe and XLC. Accell Group hired me as their first-ever SEO Specialist (interim) to own and initiate change for one of their most important marketing channels in a period of digital transition.

Key responsibilities:
• Successfully manage and lead the migration of key brands to a new single platform
• Performing technical SEO audits and driving the implementation of on-page website SEO optimization

• SEA: strategy, execution, coordination, management of 3rd parties
• Online campaign management for the Winback Showcase programme: a pilot programme testing the implementation of micro-campaigning for the Nuon company

IKEA Netherlands

After the earlier assignment in 2013, IKEA once again hired me in 2015, as a temporary replacement for their Search specialist.
Moreover, IKEA wanted me to lead the project of optimising the Customer Decision Journey in the kitchen category.
My tasks and responsibilities included:

• The implementation of a tag-management tool and process (Tealium)
• The development of a dynamic retargeting strategy for the IKEA webshop and the IKEA Family Card
