Als freelance UI/UX-Designer help ik merken met het opzetten en verbeteren van digitale ervaringen zoals hun (e-commerce) website, app, landingspagina's of advertenties.

Waar ik van houd is het creëren van digitale ervaringen en deze zo effectief mogelijk maken door middel van onderzoek en testen. Tegelijkertijd zijn mijn designs van esthetisch niveau waardoor de kwaliteit van het ontwerp de kwaliteit van het merk op de best mogelijke manier weerspiegelt.

TUI

Freelance UX Designer

At TUI I have been improving the accessibility and CRO of the website, picking up design tasks provided by stakeholders and help growing the team back to two full time designers so I could step off again. Besides this it was great to on the early stage of a global rebranding TUI is going through. For this rebranding I created a way of working processwise so we smoothly were able to make transition into this global design system.

In my time at TUI I am most proud of the following milestones and accomplishments:
An UX improvement I proposed showed a CRO increase of 1.5%. This means millions of
euro’s added yearly revenue.

The redesign of the mobile homepage. This was much needed because it did not
convey the true travel and TUI spirit so I designed a new version. We tested it and proved
to have a positive effect.

Helping the Product Owner with the hiring of two new designers and after that
guiding and helping them through their start at TUI.
Creating a process to implement the global rebranding and creating global components.

VICE

Freelance Designer

At VICE Media I have been part of the Ad Studio team. With this amazing team I have created many interactive creatives, formats, concepts & pitches in service of the most known brands in the world.

Whenever a brand wanted to advertise on vice.com we came up with a concept and a design that was best fitting to all elements (product, brand, strategy, platform, target audience and goal of the advertisement).

I have had the honor to assist VICE for a year in 2021-2022 and in this period I have designed for advertising brands on the VICE platform of which Adidas, Amazon, Campbell’s Soup, Gucci, Disney, Lionsgate, PayPal, Ralph Lauren and The New York Times.

ABN AMRO

Freelance Visual/UX Designer

At ABN AMRO I have created, managed and edited visual digital assets. Making sure
every visual content was telling the right story. In general these visuals are placed on the
website, social media, banners and emails. If new photos where needed or desirable I wrote a storytelling script around the products and discussed this with a photographer and producer in order to set up a shoot. During these shoots I was present to make sure everything went to plan.

Besides this visual part the job had an have an overlap with UX. This overlap included:
Redesign the customer journey for home insurances
Working on A/B tests
Being present at the UX lab to learn from user tests
If I had UX related issues or wishes I made sure these were addressed to stakeholders
